Admiral & The Environment
Admiral Charity Cards has always used card that is recyclable and made from 100% Elemental Chlorine Free wood pulps, and accredited by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC).
Further to this, Admiral Charity Cards are working with Moor Trees, by planting native broadleaved trees in the Devon and Cornwall area.
For every 2500 cards sold, a native broadleaved tree is planted.
Established in 1999, Moor Trees' aim is to plant and allow native broadleaved woodland to regenerate naturally. By focusing on Devon and Cornwall, Moor Trees has taken a lead within the local environment by working with volunteers from a broad range of backgrounds including local schools, colleges and universities. Not only do Moor Trees provide education and training opportunities but they also support the local communities through raising awareness of climate change, acting locally with a global view.
